Sheena Rogers, M.A. LMFT

Owner & Therapist

Hi there, I’m Sheena Rogers and I’m a licensed therapist (LMFT) and EMDR provider. I help those impacted by trauma achieve real change through a combination of thought work, body work, coaching and EMDR therapy.

My Clients

My clients usually come to me with severe anxiety, depression, or relationship patterns that seem to keep repeating themselves. They might constantly feel like they’re not good enough, or have trouble relaxing and unwinding. They might be triggered by seemingly minor things that send them spiraling into self-doubt, anxiety and depression. All of the above experiences are very common responses to trauma.

My Approach

When I first started working as a therapist, I encountered clients who have had years of unsuccessful therapy, reporting that they’ve learned some useful tools over the years but still find themselves stuck in the same old familiar thought patterns and situations. They were exhausted and desperate for an approach that led to long-lasting relief. This inspired me to make sure that I was getting to the root of core issues and healing from the bottom-up, not just applying band-aids.

In my work, I lean heavily on the most cutting edge trauma work, including EMDR and other somatic techniques to heal both the mind and body. In our work together, you’ll learn how our personalities develop, and why we become trapped into feeling, believing, and acting in ways that don’t serve us. You’ll gain tools to improve your relationships and break through emotional barriers. You’ll train your body to soften reactions to triggers so you can feel more like you’re in the driver’s seat. Finally, you’ll build healthy and sustainable habits to promote wellbeing.
